Originally built as a family guesthouse, Vila Mir has welcomed visitors from around the world for generations. Following its complete renovation in 2023, it now combines modern comfort with personal charm, creating an atmosphere where guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.

 

What makes Vila Mir truly special is its exclusivity. There is only one apartment in the entire house, meaning you will be the only guests during your stay, enjoying complete privacy and uninterrupted peace. I live on the upper floor and am always happy to assist with recommendations, local tips or anything you may need.

 

The spacious 88 m² apartment features two bedrooms, a bright living room, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a bathroom and an entrance hall. Stylish interiors, high-quality furnishings and direct access to the garden create a comfortable and relaxing living space.

 

Surrounded by nature and without immediate neighbours, Vila Mir offers breathtaking views of the Karawanks and the Julian Alps. The sunsets, in particular, make every evening unforgettable.

Lake Bled is only 5 km away, while restaurants and shops can be reached within 2 km. At the same time, Vila Mir is perfectly located for exploring all of Slovenia.

 

Hiking, trail running and trekking routes begin right at your doorstep, while scenic gravel, road cycling and mountain biking routes lead through the surrounding countryside. I am always happy to share my favourite recommendations for excursions, restaurants and hidden places beyond the usual tourist routes.

 

To help you make the most of your stay, we provide complimentary trekking bikes, e-mountain bikes, a bicycle trailer for two children, a canoe, and a selection of sports and outdoor equipment.

 

Sustainability is an important part of our philosophy. Vila Mir is powered by solar energy, producing its own electricity, heating and hot water, while guests can recharge their electric vehicle free of charge during their stay.
