MY STORY

Tourism has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I represent the fourth generation of my family working in tourism. As a young boy, I helped my mother prepare breakfast for our guests, played with their children, and met people from many different countries. Those early experiences introduced me to new languages, cultures and the true meaning of hospitality, inspiring a lifelong passion for tourism.

For many years, I have worked professionally in international tourism, specialising in business travel, meetings and events. My career has taken me around the world, allowing me to work on international projects and meet people from many different cultures. For me, tourism is not just a profession—it is a true passion.

Vila Mir has always been a house that welcomes guests. In 2023, I was proud to continue this family tradition by reopening the house. Quality, personal service and genuine hospitality are at the heart of everything I do. Equally important to me is creating a stylish and welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels at home from the very first moment.

I enjoy spending time in nature, staying active, discovering great food and enjoying exceptional wines. One of the things I appreciate most is hearing the stories people bring back from their travels. As an experienced travel professional, I am always happy to share personal recommendations, helping my guests discover Slovenia and our region in an authentic way—from hidden gems to unforgettable highlights.
